About Us

As leading experts in nonpartisan voting rights in Texas, accompanied by strong research and resources as to nationwide trends in election systems and reforms, the Texas Election Reform Coalition brings nonpartisan solutions to addressing election subversion and maintaining election integrity, improving access so every eligible voter can exercise their right and freedom to vote, and demonstrates organizing skill to elevate democracy issues to the public.

Operating in the Texas Legislature since 2012, TERC has been the coalition leading the fight for protecting democracy and Texas voters. Organizing and mobilizing thousands of individual Texans to testify at dozens of hearings, being the leading coalition to fight against anti-voter bill SB1 and served as expert witness with resources on the worst parts of the earliest versions of the bill that were inevitably removed from the final engrossed legislation.
